Guidelines for Team Hockey Moms
Thank you very much for volunteering to be the Hockey Mother for your team. You are the important liaison between the parents and the hockey organization. Hockey Mom meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month during the season. Please attend as many meetings as you can. We need your ideas!
Hockey Mother’s believes strongly in community spirit and strives to enhance the enjoyment of hockey by players and parents. The major prospects of the association are fundraising and organizing the year-end banquets. At these banquets, Hockey Mothers donate a trophy to every player that is involved in Hespeler Minor Hockey. Our fundraising also helps subsidize the cost of registration for each and every player. This involves a lot of organizing and help throughout the year.
In order to achieve success in these endeavours, we raise money through various fundraising events. This is where your help and contribution is needed and appreciated. At various times of the year, we will ask you to contact all of your team parents to inform them of upcoming events or to ask for their help for the specific fundraiser or activity.
