Local League Playoff Action - Midget, Bantam, Peewee and Atom teams in finals
Submitted By tonyh on Saturday, March 5, 2016
In the Grand River Local League 5 Hespeler teams have advanced to their group Championship series.

The Hespeler Midget Local League team begins their series against Woolwich tomorrow in Woolwich and will be home March 21st for game two @8:00pm.

The Peewee Hespeler 1 team will be playing Paris in the Grand River Local League Peewee Group D Championship series. Games aren't posted yet but see our Playoffs page for all playoff schedules.

In an unusual twist, the Bantam Hespeler 2 team is in a three way tie with Tavistock and St. George with 11 points a piece after the conclusion of the Bantam Group C Round Robin games. I believe Hespeler 2 will advance to play Tavistock in the Championship series but the qualifying teams haven't been posted yet. So keep your fingers and toes crossed!

In Atom Local League action, the Hespeler 2 Atom Local League team placed 2nd in the Atom Group D playoffs after losing to Plattsville in the Championship Series.  The Hespeler 1 Atom Local League team has progressed to the Atom Group C Championship series and is waiting to see if Ayr 1 or Paris 2 will their tie-breaker game.

It's great to see so many Hespeler teams in our Local League divisions playing in their group Championships series. Good luck Rocks!!!
