Rocks Win Marathon In Parry Sound
The Rocks came out on the losing side Friday night against Caledon, losing 3 to 1. They came out flying Saturday against Brampton beating them 6 to 5. Continued there drive for gold beating Parry Sound 5 to 2 Saturday night. Then a long night waiting to see if they advanced. They played Midland in the semi final beating them 4 to 1 , to move onto the final. A rematch against Caledon. A rematch that will not be forgotten. Tied after 3 periods 2 to 2. The marathon began, after 2 penalty shots , one for each team, and 22 overtime 4 on 4 periods the came out on top 3 to 2.
