Dundas crying the Blues after 4-0 loss to Rock’s!
By Mike Costigan --> Team Reporter

Quick starts are becoming a pattern for the Shamrock’s of late.  For the second game in a row, Hespeler opened the scoring within the first two minutes of their Sunday afternoon visit to Market Arena in Dundas and never looked back.  The Rock’s have had a tough time winning in Dundas this season, so the quick opening goal was a good sign of things to change.

The Shamrock’s scored twice in the first, and added one in each of the last two periods in a solidly played game.  A persistent fore-check had the Blues spending a lot of the time in their own end throughout the game.   Numerous scoring chances could have made the victory even more lopsided, had the Rock’s been able to capitalize.

Defensively, the effort was equally as good, limiting the number of good shots to just a handful for the second game in a row.  The sturdy blue liners were able to stifle the majority of Dundas’s scoring chances while assisting on the offensive front with some great shots from the point.  Add in another solid goaltending effort and the Shamrock’s are stringing together some really great team efforts.

Keep it up Boy’s!  It is fun to watch!
