Playing for the Banner!!!
Congrats to our Rocks for the birth in the Tri-County Championship!!
Going into Friday night's home game vs New Hamburg we knew we had to win two games this weekend. One loss or one tie even would have put us out of contention. We rallied our Rocks around that senerio and came out flying Friday night vs NH beating them convincly 7-3. We then on Sunday had to face a tough Guelph Storm team in their building. No score after 1st, then went down 1-0 in second we could have pack it in right there. Not this group. We battled back to tie and then go ahead 2-1 in the third and then after a tense last 3 minutes secured it with an empty netter 3-1.
We look forward to the challenge of trying to bring home a Novice AE Championship banner for our Rocks and for HMHA. Please feel free to come out and cheer us on if you can we would love the support! Schedule to follow.
