Nail Biting WIN in Overtime!!
What an awesome win in overtime for our Shamrock AE's!  Great team play and hustle is what lead to this playoff win against the Woolwich Wildcats!

The first period found our Shamrocks playing hard from the first puck drop pushing hard to the Woolwich net.   However, the Wildcats with just :43 seconds left in the period were able to push their way through the Rocks defense and slide one in the net.

The Rocks kept their cool and with hard play to the net scored two goals in the second period.  First goal scored by Adam C. with the assist to Eric S. and Carter T. and the second Goal scored by Ryan M. with the assist to Brandon W.  The second period ended with our Shamrocks leading 2-1.

The third period found our Shamrocks up another goal scored by Ben R. assisted by Eric S. and Tyler B. making the score 3-1 Shamrocks.  The Wildcats were able to add a goal to their side of the scoreboard on a power play goal bringing the score within one.  With Woolwich hungry for the tying goal they unleashed a flurry of shots on goal, but Logan M. denied them all keeping his Rocks in the game.  The Wildcats still with the momentum pulled their goalie. With the extra man and our Shamrocks scrambling, not moving their feet as quickly as earlier in the game, the Wildcats were able to even up the score with only :42 seconds left in the period.  Forcing overtime.

Our Shamrocks hungry for the win ended the Wildcats momentum and were all over the puck!  Just thirty five seconds into overtime Ben R. was able to push his way into the Woolwich zone and found Andrew C. open in front of the net scoring overtime game winning goal.

What an amazing game Shamrocks!!!  My favorite thing is that all four of our goals were scored by four different players just cementing that this was a TEAM win!  It took the whole team working together, pushing together, and looking for the passes, that lead to this well deserved win!!

Thanks for the entertaining win - while heart stopping for your fans - it was very exciting!

Lets bring this momentum into our next game against Halton Sunday!!!

GO ROCKS GO!!!

Tigercat
Tigercat specializes in the design and manufacturing of premium quality forestry equipment and specialized off-road industrial equipment. Tigercat forestry systems are designed to provide lowest cost per tonne harvesting solutions. Tigercat began in 1992 when a small group of professionals with extensive experience in all facets of the logging equipment industry teamed up with the Cambridge, Ontario based fabrication company, MacDonald Steel. At the time, MacDonald Steel was engaged in the fabrication of components for many well-known mobile equipment manufacturers. However, owner and CEO Ken MacDonald envisioned the creation of a new company that would build upon MacDonald Steel’s fabricating expertise, a company that would design and manufacture purpose-built forestry equipment. With headquarters in Brantford, Ontario, Tigercat operates from eight southern Ontario locations. These facilities house the design and production teams for all Tigercat products as well as steel fabrication, administration, customer service and parts distribution.
