U9LL, LL (Hespeler Minor Hockey Association)

On Sunday November 9th the Shamrocks held their home opener when they hosted the Plattsville Rage the the Hespeler Arena. It was so great to get out on our home ice and show our spirit and skills. Our players are really understanding positional work and how to play together as a team. There is some amazing passes happening out there. This week's players of the game are top goal scorers, but that's not why they were selected. It was their team first mentality, looking for passes and supporting teammates that made them shine extra bright! Congrats Shea and William! Your team is proud of you. 

On Sunday November 2nd the Shamrocks opened up their season in Beverly as they took on the Bandits. Our players of the game were Riggins and Emmett. Riggins netted the first hat trick of the year for the Shamrocks! Emmett in the first game of his career scored the first goal of our season! Well done Riggins and Emmett, your team is proud of you!

On Friday October 3rd our u9 LL Hespeler Shamrocks suited up at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium to take the ice along side the OHL's Kitchener Rangers ahead of their tilt against the Owen Sound Attack. While the Shamrocks may have only shared a few minutes on the ice with the Rangers, it was long enough to bond with their teammates, build core memories and get a taste of the big time. Afterwards the players enjoyed the game with their families and bonded with their new team.
