Nominations for HMHA Board of Directors

We are now accepting nominations for Board of Director positions. 

If you are interested in serving on the HMHA Board of Directors, please consider submitting a nomination.

We are now accepting nominations for these positions:


1.   President   

2.   Vice-President (1-year term)

3.   Director of Hockey Operations

4.   Registration and Privacy Director

5.   Purchasing Director

6.   Initiation Program Director

7.   Local League Director

8.   Communications Director

9.   Marketing Director

10. Special Executive Assistant

11. Member at Large X 4


To qualify for these positions, the following requirements must be met:


Be eighteen (18) or more years of age.

Be an undischarged bankrupt or of unsound mind.

Be a Member of the Association at the time of his or her election or appointment.

Remain a Member of the Association throughout his or her term of office.

To qualify for positions of President, Vice President or Treasurer a member must have served on the Board of Directors for at least one year.

To qualify for position of Treasurer a member must have a minimum of two (2) years financial experience, which includes budgeting and/or payroll experience.


If you are interested, please complete the 2020 HMHA Board Nomination Form and indicate what position you would like to serve. 


The deadline for nominations is Sunday, August 16, 2020.  The slate of nominees will be presented to the current executive on August 18, 2020 and the membership will vote to fill these positions at the 2020 HMHA Virtual AGM on August 29, 2020. 


Please note that there will be no nominations from the floor during the AGM other than for positions where no nominations were received online.
