Shamrocks Win Gold in St. Thomas
The Hespeler U18A Shamrocks took first place in the Boston Pizza Cup Major Tournament in St. Thomas this weekend.
The Shamrocks went undefeated in the tournament with wins over the Woodstock Jr. Navy Vets, Stratford Warriors, Erie Northshore Storm, Kitchener Jr. Rangers and then the Riverside Rangers in the Semi Finals.
In the finals the Shamrocks defeated the Elmira Jr. Sugar Kings 6 - 1 to win the championship.
