U18A Regional Silver Stick Champions
The Hespeler U18A Shamrocks won the Regional Silver Stick
Tournament in Pelham this weekend.
The Shamrocks went 2-1 in group play with an opening loss to
the Pelham Panthers followed by wins over the Ft. Erie Meteors and the Tillsonburg
Tornadoes. The Shamrocks then defeated the
Oakville Rangers in the quarter finals and the St. Mary’s Rock in the
semi-finals.
In the finals the Shamrocks defeated Pelham 3-1 to win the championship.
The Shamrocks will now participate in the North American Silver Stick Finals in Sarnia on January 14th -16th.
