U10 AA Tournament Champions!!
Our U10 AA Shamrocks had a great tournament this week in Burlington's Golden Horseshoe Hockey Classic going undefeated in the Round Robin. They played an exciting semifinal game against the Flamborough Sabres which remained scoreless until the last three minutes of the game when Hespeler pulled ahead winning 2-0 to move onto the finals.
The Shamrocks went on to play an even more exciting final against the Burlington Eagles resulting in a 1-1 tie at the end of regulation time. After a two minute rest period, the game moved on to a 5 minute period of sudden victory 3 on 3 overtime.
The boys battled their hearts out and were victorious scoring with a mere 12 seconds left in the period to clinch the title! The coaching staff couldn’t be more proud of these boys for bringing home Hespeler's first AA banner! Way to go Shamrocks!
