U9LL #1 has Bronze success
For the first time on full ice and the first tournament for this local league team they are proud to be celebrating a Bronze Medal.

The U9 LL #1 team travelled to Embro this past Saturday to participate in the Hockey Day in Canada U9 1 day tournament.  It was this teams first time playing full ice since the transition from half ice started on January 15th.They started the day with a 4-0 win over the Mount Brydges Red, giving Goalie Tedford his first shut-out. With an hour off between the round robin games they headed into the second game trying to win against Plattsville; but came up short. With one win in the round robin, they headed to the “B” Division Championship Game to win 6-4 for the Bronze Medal.  Three games in one day is the full spirit of Hockey Day in Canada and the U9 LL#1 shamrocks didn’t leave anything on the ice.
