Hespeler U9 Full Ice Champions!, News (Hespeler Minor Hockey Association)

Our Hespeler U9 MD had a great tournament this past weekend in Hespeler’s very own U9 Full Ice Tournament going 3-0-1 in the round robin. They played an exciting early morning semifinal game against the Woolwich Wildcats where our Shamrocks were able to pull ahead winning 2-0 to move onto the finals.

 The Shamrocks went on to play an even more exciting final against the Centre Wellington Fusion. The Shamrocks took the lead early going up 1-0 but the Fusion answered back and we ended the first period tied 1-1. The second period was similar ending in an 2-2 tie. The boys actually found themselves down 2-3 for a portion of the third but they continued to battle and came out victorious with a 5-3 win to clinch the title! The coaching staff couldn’t be more proud of these boys for bringing home Hespeler's first U9 Full Ice Tournament Cup! Way to go Shamrocks!
