U11 Local League take Silver
Congratulations to the U11 Local League Shamrocks for winning silver at the Swindell's Classic in Oshawa.
Following a narrow 6-5 loss to the
Clarington Tigers, the Shamrocks came back on a mission and skated to a 16-4
victory over the home team, OCHL Kingsview. The third matchup was against
Tavistock which ended in a 6-6 draw. The Shamrocks and Tavistock faced off
against each other again in the C Championship that ended in a
6-6 regulation tie. After a five minute overtime period, the game was
decided in a shootout with Tavistock ultimately prevailing.
