Winning Weekend for the Shamrocks!
It was a great weekend of action for Shamrock's hockey, with multiple teams bringing home some hardware.
The U11AA brought home the gold at the Toronto Aeros Spring Classic, cruising through the round-robin and outscoring their opponents 24-3!
Sunday, they faced Leaside Flames in an exciting semi-final, winning 4-2. They progressed to the finals facing Oakville Rangers. They tied 2-2, resulting in a 5-minute sudden death overtime. No one was able to score in OT, so they went to a best-of-3 shoot-out. With the Shamrocks winning the shootout 1-0!

The U13 LL2 competed in the Bill Whitbread Tournament in Caledon.The Shamrocks put teamwork, front and centre and displayed incredible efforts on the ice all weekend.Hespeler finished the round-robin in third place, going 2-2-0.
The semifinals saw them rematch against a team they had lost 1-0 to the day before. The team played with confidence and skated away from the semis with a 6-1 victory.
For the championship and last game of the tournament, the team faced off against their first opponent, whom they had lost 3-1 on Friday. It was a very intense game, but this time, the Shamrocks came out on top, with a final score of 2-1.The team only allowed one goal per game on average and netted 25 of their own.

Finally, The U14A Shamrocks won silver this weekend at the Ajax Spring Thaw tournament. In the four round-robin games, the boys scored 17 goals and let in one. In the semis, they won 6-1, and in the finals, the team played hard but couldn’t quite secure the win. Every step of the way they worked as a team.
