Hespeler Minor Hockey Association (HMHA) will be introducing a midseason parent feedback form as part of an ongoing effort to support positive team experiences and continuous improvement across the organization.
The feedback form will give families an opportunity to share thoughtful input on their team’s bench staff, including coaches and trainers, focusing on areas such as communication, organization, player development, and overall team environment. The goal is to better understand what’s working well and where additional support or learning opportunities may exist.
The feedback collected will be treated as confidential and will represent one data point among many. It will be considered alongside other information such as coach applications, references, and evaluations — not as a stand-alone factor.
Feedback may also be shared privately with bench staff if they return the following season, with the intent of supporting reflection and development. HMHA recognizes that every team dynamic is different, and that no single data source can capture the full picture.
