Little Rocks Take the Lock!
Submitted By tonyh on Tuesday, March 4, 2014
The "Little Rocks" won the Peterborough, Under The Lock Tournament on Feb 9th, keeping up the tradition of strong showings from the Tyke's at the tournament and making for a great drive home in some trying conditions.

Of the four losses the team has this year one of them was to Stouffville in the Finals at the Bradford tournament and as luck would have it they had to face them again in the semi-finals to advance.  Well these boys wanted to exact some revenge and did so in a dominating team performance to make it to the Finals.  In the Finals they faced Wheatfield (Buffalo area), they played to a tied in the round robin against Wheatfield in the most physical game they have had to play to date, and stood the test while dishing out some of their own physicality!  In the Final the Little Rocks would not be denied the Championship with strong work ethic and great team play they won the tournament with a score of 4-1!

Hats off to the whole group for surviving the cold outside conditions and making sure the boys were prepared to play at a Championship level!
