Bantam AE Takes Gold in Caledonia

Congratulations to the Bantam AE team who defeated Dorchester 3-2 in the finals to place first in the Caledonia Challenge Cup this weekend. 

The Shamrocks Bantam AE team won the Caledonia Challenge Cup today 3-2 against an outstanding Dorchester team that pushed us right to the wall.

The boys went undefeated but had several tough games against tough opposition on the way to the victory. Big shout out to Captain Wes Laufert who was picked as tourney MVP by the Caledonia tourney staff.

Yesterday, they had incredible competition from Fort Erie, winning 3-2 with Jack Hammill's game winning dangle and snipe with 50 seconds to go yesterday moving us on, and Wes's game winning shorty with a minute left today was an unbelievable effort to win the tourney.

The entire team should be very proud of the efforts they made. They have played seven games in five days this week. Scoring was spread around through all players! A great team tourney and they should be really proud.
