OMHA Essay Contest

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association is proud to announce the “I Love to Play Hockey” Essay Contest. 

The purpose of this contest is to engage our players in an educational manner while encouraging them to express their ideas and thoughts on why they truly love to play hockey. Not to mention, give them the chance to win some amazing prizes!
Essay should be no longer than 250 words and all essays must begin with the phrase “I love to play hockey because…”
Winners will be selected based on the quality, creativity and passion demonstrated in their submission. Only 1 submission per player will be accepted.
GRAND PRIZE - 4 tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs Home Game (15-16 season)
Hotel Accommodations
$200 in spending cash.
 
5 Finalist Prizes - Awarded a copy of Hockey Canada’s 100th Anniversary book “It’s Our Game” and an OMHA Prize Pack
