With 9 teams going to the finals this year here are some updates for our playoff teams and a summary of when their next home games are.

  • Minor Midget AE had to settle for Tri-County Finalists after losing their March 22 game to Halton Hills. After a rocky start to the season they were able to work their way to the Tri-County finals. Well done Rocks!

Local League Playoff Updates
  • Peewee Local League Team 1 was defeated by Paris in the Group D finals. Well done on making it to the finals!
  • Atom Local League Team 2 are Group D Finalists after losing 2 straight to Plattsville. Congratulations on a being finalists!
  • Midget Local League Team 1 also settled for the title of Finalists in their Group C Championship against Woolwich. They took an early league by winning game 1 but lost the crucial game 2 game 9-8 and couldn;t recover in game three.

  • Atom Local League Team 1 are in the Group C finals and will be playing Ayr. Games for the finals are not scheduled yet.

  • Bantam Local League Team 2 is in one of the most interesting battles to go to the finals in recent memory. After the Group C Round Robin, Hespeler, Tavistock and St. George were tied with 13 points a piece. Tie-breaker rules could not resolve the deadlock so they went to a 3 game Round Robin tie-breaker series. Each team won a game by a score of 2-1 so they are still all tied. Now another tie-breaking round is set to start next week. Hespeler will face St. George at home on the 22nd at 8:30pm and then go to Tavistock on the 24th. Hopefully the Rocks will be heading to the finals after this round. GO ROCKS GO!!!

  • Waiting for the Atom Local League Team 1 game to be scheduled and Bantam Local League Team 2 tie-breaking round to be completed.
