GIVE THE GIFT OF BLOOD
A blood donation is the best gift you
can give this December.
Most people don't realize that platelets, a
component of blood, only has a shelf life of 5 days. That is why it is
imperative that blood clinics run on almost every day of the year. If there are no clinics for 2 days in a row
(Christmas and Boxing Day) there is a chance that there would not have enough
blood.
Calling on all those that are 17+. There will be a blood donor clinic on December 26th that is in desperate need of support. A minimum of 120 blood donations are needed that day to support local patients, yet there are currently only 33 people signed up to donate blood.
