U18A, 2024-2025, Rep A (Hespeler Minor Hockey Association)

The U18 A Hespeler Shamrocks collected over 170 lbs of non-perishable food for the Cambridge Food Bank at their home opener last month.  The squad presented the food to the Cambridge Food Bank last week, and toured the facility to learn about the agency's services and the state food insecurity in our community. The team then rolled up their sleeves to donate their time working in the Cambridge Food Bank sorting room sorting and categorizing donated food.

The U18 A Shamrocks will celebrate their home opener Thanksgiving weekend with a Food & Fund Drive in support of the Cambridge Food Bank.  The Shammies open their home ice season playing host to the Owen Sound Attack Saturday, October 12th at 7:45 PM at the Hespeler Arena.  The Shamrocks will collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations at the game in support of the Cambridge Food Bank.  The Food Bank's most needed items are sandwich spreads, canned meat and fish, cereal, canned fruit and school snacks. Monetary donations will also be accepted. All support is appreciated.
