U8 MD, MD (Hespeler Minor Hockey Association)

Hespeler Minor Hockey is excited to welcome our youngest players to the ice this fall.

I am pleased to announce the players who have been selected for the 2025–2026 U8MD team roster. Congratulations to all those who have earned a spot. To those who were not selected this time, please know that your hard work and commitment did not go unnoticed. I commend you for your dedication, and wish you the very best in the upcoming season. I hope to see you back on the ice next year, stronger than ever.

As we head into the final tryout tomorrow, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone for their incredible effort and commitment. Despite the challenges of a holiday weekend and several players feeling under the weather, the energy and determination on the ice have been nothing short of outstanding. Every player should be proud of what they’ve brought to this tryout period — your hard work has not gone unnoticed. With that being said the final roster will be posted here on Thursday Evening (April 24). Your patience is much appreciated.  Coach Jordan 

There has been a minor change to try out dates due to Good Friday. U8MD Try outs are now as follows; Saturday April 19, 8:00 am Rink 1 Sunday April 20, 10:00 am Rink 1 Tuesday April 22, 5:30-6:30 Rink 2

Try Outs for the 2025-2026 U8MD team are fast approaching. Be sure to register in advance for try outs through the HMHA website prior to showing up at the arena. All three skates will be at the Hespeler Arena. The dates and times for all three sessions are as follows: Friday April 18, 6:00 pm Rink 1 Saturday April 19, 8:00 am Rink 1 Sunday April 20, 10:00 am Rink 1   Please try to be at the rink half an hour before the scheduled ice time to have enough time to check in and receive your pinnie.
