Silver in Barrie
Hespeler Shamrocks U15 ALL came home with a Silver Medal from the Barrie Select Tournament this past weekend.
This past weekend the Shamrocks finished a great tournament with a 4-2 record. They finished second in pool play finishing behind an extremely strong Nepean team. In the Semi Final the shamrocks came to play winning 7-0 to punch their ticket to the final.
In the final it was a rematch with the undefeated Nepean team who had not let in a goal in 5 games. The shamrocks fought hard and scored the first goal while also keeping them off the board until halfway through the second. The Nepean team proved to be a little too much winning 3-1.
All the coaches are proud of this group for the way they played this weekend, they really dug deep to make the finals a game to remember.
