U9LL, LL (Hespeler Minor Hockey Association)

On Sunday December 11th the Shamrocks headed down to the Woolwich Arena to face off against the Wildcats. The games were very quick paced and high action, with both teams battling hard. Players of the Game were Markus and Wylder. Both these players continue to take the notes from the coaches and apply them to game day. It is amazing to watch you grow and excel. Congrats Wylder and Markus! Your team is proud of you!

On Sunday December 7th the Shamrocks welcomed the New Hamburg Huskies to the Hespeler Arena. The Huskies, known for bringing the intensity and sharp shooters, meant we had a very action packed and quick paced game this morning. Our players continue to work on building blocks for full-ice hockey, concentrating on moving the puck and driving to the net today. Our players of the game took the notes to hard and really delivered on these key skills with Tommy driving to the net and Logan moving the puck around and working the boards. Well done Tommy and Logan! Your team is proud of you! 

On Sunday November 23rd the Shamrocks welcomed the Tavistock Titans into the Hespeler Arena. The games were very exciting and quick paced with lots of good chances on all sides. The Shamrocks continue to really build on their teamwork and passing skills and are opening up the ice. Players of the game were Blake and Dominic, two players who continually show up with great attitudes, work hard and support the team. Congratulations Blake and Dominic! Your team is proud of you!

On Sunday November 16th the Shamrocks hit the road for Elmira where they faced off against the Woolwich Wildcats. The games were quick-paced and physical at times but the Shamrocks continued to play as a team and support eachother. Players of the game were Zach and Parker! Well done boys, your team is proud of you!

On Sunday November 9th the Shamrocks held their home opener when they hosted the Plattsville Rage the the Hespeler Arena. It was so great to get out on our home ice and show our spirit and skills. Our players are really understanding positional work and how to play together as a team. There is some amazing passes happening out there. This week's players of the game are top goal scorers, but that's not why they were selected. It was their team first mentality, looking for passes and supporting teammates that made them shine extra bright! Congrats Shea and William! Your team is proud of you.
