Niagara Tournament: Players of Game 3
Our third, and final, game of the tournament saw Riggins and Blair as our players of the game. Riggins has absolutely found his workstation on the ice this weekend netting three goals (the most scored by a Shamrock) from just outside the blue paint. Riggins handles the battles in front of the net with determination and makes sure he makes the most of the chances that come his way. Blair was a juggernaut on the blue line this weekend. His hockey sense has grown tremendously as he showed maturity and confidence manning the back end. He knows when to pinch in and when to start his retreat. He is fantastic at beginning the breakouts and helping the wingers exit the zone. His enthusiasm is felt by all. Well done boys, your team is proud of you.
