On Friday December 12th the Shamrocks took part in the Waterford u13LL Tournament.
Our first game was against the Burford Coyotes where the Shamrocks won by a score of 3-2. Our player of the Game was Jase Martin for his superb execution as a defender, keeping the Coyotes at bay.
Our second game was against Centre Wellington Fusion where the Shamrocks had an explosive performance, winning the match 9-2. Player of the Game was Niko Veber for his puck aggression & work on the boards & netted his first goal of the season!
Next was the Quarter Finals against the Waterford Wildcats. This game saw extreme physical play & we finished the game 2-2. Sudden-death 3on3 overtime yielded no winner, so off to the shootout where the Shamrocks were shutout finishing 4-2. Player of the game was Dexter Linde, who never gave up, encouraged his teammates and battled until the final second.
Congrats to everyone this weekend. You all played very well and it was a total team effort. We are so proud of you all!
