The first game of the night started out as a tie game after one period of play with the shot count sitting at 11-9 in favour of Black.

Black would score the opener at 9:59 of the second period with a goal from Colin Nurnberg assisted by Zach McBride.  Black would close out the period with their second goal of the night at 6:09 from Kyle McBride assisted by Zach McBride and Bryce Lahey.

Orange goalie Alex Currie had faced 32 - 19 in favour of Black at the end of two.

In the third period Black scored their 3rd goal making it 3-0 at 12:23 of the evening on a goal by Zach McBride assisted by Christian Chopping-Clarke. 
Two minutes later at 10:19 Black scored to make it 4-0 on a goal by Bryce Lahey assisted by Zach McBride and Colin Nurnberg.

Black closed out the period with a final goal at 9:35 of the 3rd  on a goal from Zach McBride assisted by Bryce Lahey.

Total shots were 45-28 in favour of Black.
