This fast pace game saw its first goal come via Kyle McBride at 2:27 of the opening period to close out the first 1-0 Black. 
Shots were nearly even 12-11 in favour of Black.
White made it a tie game at 13:35 of the 2nd on a goal from Nick Voisin assisted by Brent Morgan then still in the 2nd, White went up 2-1 at 10:09 on a goal from Jamie Whittaker assisted by Nick Voisin.
It wasn't until the closing moments of the 2nd that the score changed again but this time it was Black who would strike to make it 2-2 hockey game on an unassisted goal from Spencer Taylor at 2:47.  It wasn't long after that that Black went up 2 more when at 1:15 Black's John Gould scored twice assisted both times by Kyle and Zach McBride to close out the 2nd with a 4-2 lead for Black.
Shots at the end of two were 28-20 in favour of Black.
White made it interesting when they scored at 12:35 of third to make it 4-3 on a goal by Brandon Payntor assisted by Michael Strickland.
In the end it was to be Black's night when they completed the scoring at 7:18 of the 3rd on an unassisted goal coming in from Zach McBride to close out the scoring 5-3 in favour of Black.
Total shots at the end of three periods were 36-34 in favour of White.
