The scoring began at 11:05 in the 1st period when Bryce Kelly scored assisted by Cameron Mason to make it 1-0 for Red.   It stayed like that until with just 59 seconds left in the 1st, Cameron Mason made it 2-0 assisted by Colin Aucoin.
Shot count was pretty even at 9-8 in favour of Blue at the end of one.
The second period opened with a goal going to Blue at 14:29 by Jorden Hynds to pull within one of Red.  Just less than a minute later at 13:23 Red struck again to make it a 3-1 game on a goal by Cameron Mason assisted by Zach Linders. Red continued to widen their lead at 11:47 on a goal from Jamie Meadows assisted by Bryce Kelly. This was followed by 3 more goals, one by Kyle Oberle (assisted by Bryce Kelly) with the other two by Cameron Mason also assisted by Bryce Kelly and Colin Aucoin to put Red up 7-1.  Blue mounted a come back of sorts scoring the final goal of the second at 0:43 remaining, by Tyler Thibault assisted by Colin Decoste.
Shots were still quite close 24-21 in favour of Red at the end of two.
Blue pushed hard to pull it to a 7-3 game on a goal at 11:19 of the 3rd coming from Jordan Hynds assisted by Ryan Betz and then they made it 7-4 at 7:25 of the 3rd on a goal by Andrew Ignaciuk assisted by Jordan Hynds. At 5:34 of the 3rd it looked like there was a game at hand as Blue scored for the 5th time to make it a 7-5 game on a goal by Jon Marc Gibson assited by Dylan Savage and Thyler Thibault.
Unfortunately for Blue that would be all they would realize as Cameron Mason from Red scored at 4:51 assited by Thomas Lane and then with only 4 seconds remaining Cameron Mason scored his 6th goal of the evening to close this wild one out at 9-5 in favour of Red.
Total shots were 32-31 in favour of BLUE.
