Awesome in Arthur
Making the always adventurous drive to Arthur our Shamrocks played to win and once again played as a team!
The first period flew by with the Shamrocks getting on the score board with Taylor scoring the game opener.
In the second our Rocks added a pair of goals to the score board courtesy of Taylor and Patrick. These goals were made possible by solid passing and the ability to clear the puck out of our zone. Arthur was able to get on the score board at the end of the second bringing the score to 3-1 Shamrocks.
The third period found both teams with the extra man advantage but neither was able to capitalize on it. When back to full strength Andrew was able to hit the target at the back of the net putting Hespeler up 4-1. Our Shamrocks played well keeping Arthur off the scoreboard but during the last minutes of the period our Rocks found themselves on a 5 on 3 penalty kill. Staying disciplined our Shamrocks were able to keep the Vipers off the score board and brought home the 4-1 win!
