The Shamrocks left it all out on the ice but fell short with a 2-1 loss to the Woolwich Wildcats.  But hold those chins up high as the Hespeler Shamrocks are Tri-County Minor Hockey Peewee AE Finalist.

The Rocks did not make it an easy win but just couldn't seem to get the shots off and find a way into the Woolwich net.  Down 2-0 in the third with just minutes left in the game Dean C. hit the sweet spot making the score 2-1 breathing new life into the Rocks but there just wasn't enough time left on the scoreboard to even up the game. Down two games our Shamrocks were in a win or the season was over situation.  Who should arrive to cheer our Shamrocks on our Puck Mascot!!! Showing up when the boys needed him most it added a pep to their step and with a 3-2 win our Shamrocks add another game to their playoff run!

You could not ask for anymore excitement in a game!  A four minute penalty, ANOTHER penalty shot, goals, Woolwich goals, goalie pulled, end of game penalties!!!!

With Andrew, Taylor, and Adam C. finding the back of the Woolwich net and our solid defense, and a goalie on fire ... our Shamrocks brought their game. Read More

Falling behind two games in the series with a 2-0 loss our Rocks have a steep hill to climb.  In order to beat the Wildcats the Shamrocks need to bring their "A" game to every minute of play and the Wildcats were just too Wild tonight for them to keep up.

With two quick goals in the second period the Wildcats took the air out of the Shamrock sails and the Rocks just couldn't get one in the back of the Woolwich net even with the solid shots they put at it.

The heart each and every player brings to every game is inspiring!  The dedication they show to their team cannot be matched by ANY other team in their league. Read More

Not the preferred way to start off a series with an overtime loss.  BUT this is a series and in the last TWO Tri-County series we have come out on top (including one that saw Woolwich win the first game), and you know they say Three Times a Charm!

Woolwich is a great team and is the same team that started this season!  Our Shamrocks are NOT the same team that started at the beginning of the season.  Each game our Rocks continue to grow and that is what makes them a very dangerous opponent!!!
