Unbeaten in Semi Finals - Securing Home Ice!
With a 3-1 win playing as a team, with a goalie on fire in the net, and Zack and Colby getting on the score board our Shamrocks secured home ice advantage!

Overall it was a quiet game against the Huskies.  The first period flew by with only one penalty against New Hamburg but nothing our Rocks put at their goalie found their way to the sweet spot at the back of the net and the period ended with a 0-0 score.

The second period our Rocks found themselves short handed but our penalty kill was spot on and New Hamburg was unable to take advantage and even up the score.  Back at full strength Zack and Colby found a way past the Husky net minder ending the second 2-0 Shamrocks.

The third period found our Rocks once again on the power play but the locks must have been changed on the net as they couldn't find their way in to add to the score board.  But once New Hamburg was back to full strength Colby found the keys and scored his second of the night making it 3-0 Rocks.  But with minutes left in play our Shamrocks found themselves with back to back penalties. They were able to kill off the first penalty but unable to do the same with the second with a 6 on 4 advantage New Hamburg scored.   With less than a minute and a half left our Shamrocks were able to fight off the Huskies ending the game 3-1 Hespeler.

Excellent passing with back and fore checking made a huge difference in this game!!  Great job Shamrocks!!!

Facing off against Woolwich in the next round for the Tri-City Championship will be no easy task but our Rocks are up for the challenge.  Below are the stats we need to remember:
