Shamrocks gain some valuable experience in New Hamburg Tournament
Despite losing all four of its games in the New Hamburg Tournament, the Shamrocks’ can take a lot of positives away from the experience.  As it turned out, the tournament attracted only Major Atom teams in the division and as a result Hespeler had its work cut out for them.

The shamrocks found out quickly that the speed and skill that their year older opponents possessed would require more effort than they were used to. To the boy’s credit, the fact that they were able to compete with faster, stronger, and more skilled teams allowed the coaching staff see the potential within this group, and to stress the positives of the experience to the team so the boys could come away feeling good about their efforts. With a nice stretch of practices coming in the next two weeks, the Shamrocks should be ready to continue their winning ways in their league play.

Keep up the hard work Rocks’!
