February 23- Players of the Game
On Sunday February 23rd our Shamrocks headed to Beverly to take on the Bandits. Beverly is widely regarded as the toughest team to beat in the Grand River Local League but that didn't matter to our Shamrocks. In the first match our goalie was able to net a team first this year, when he recorded our first shutout with a 7-0 victory in the first matchup. Meanwhile on the other side of the ice one player really stood out for not being afraid to challenge the Bandits for possession and stood tall and skated with his head up and was able to create many opportunities for our team. Congrats to Ethan and Hayden for being the players of the game. Your team is so proud of you!
