Outdoor Rink Experience
Hockey is a Canadian tradition.
It truly feels part of the identity of what it means to be Canadian, but increasingly, with that comes more teams, more levels, elite status and shiny trophy's. But that's not what makes it special. That's not what makes it hockey. It's the people. The players, the coaches and the volunteers. It's throwing your sticks in a pile at centre ice with strangers and skating away with friends. On Monday our team was treated to hockey in the purest of forms, from their Coaches where all that was needed was: an outdoor ice surface, 3 on 3 hockey, a brunch of kids and memories to last a lifetime. Thanks to our coaches for this wonderful experience.
