Shamrocks Shackled by Penalties
Good teams find ways to win when not at their best…and that was certainly the case in their November 6th tilt with the Dundas Blues.  One day after a great effort in Caledon the Shamrock’s suffered a little let down.

The first period opened with what looked like the continuation of the “spirited effort of the previous day’s victory in Caledon with the first period being dominated by the Shamrock’s despite only being able to score once.

Penalty trouble in the second resulted in a momentum swing and Dundas was able to capitalize on the man advantage to tie the game.

The third period opened with the Shamrock’s gaining the lead early however once again the momentum was quickly turned when a steady march to the penalty box ensued. Despite being short handed for ten minutes in the third period, the Shamrock defence stood tall and the boys escaped with a victory.
